Survivor Mentorship & Support

our mission

Ending the Cycle of Sexual Exploitation & Trafficking

Child trafficking and sexual exploitation are real, and we need your help to stop them. Safe Passage walks alongside youth who’ve been impacted by sexual grooming, exploitation, or trafficking. We are dedicated to helping victims escape their abusive environments, sustain freedom, and believe in a hopeful life ahead. We use a holistic and victim-centered approach to support victims through mentorship, which has been proven as an effective method to promote healing in exploited youth. Mentorship is a restorative relationship that encourages growth and healing, builds protective factors, fosters resiliency, and develops a positive and encouraging support system to end victimization for good.

Healing & Hope for Survivors

Safe Passage provides empowering mentorship and support services to youth who've been impacted by sexual grooming, exploitation, or trafficking. Our mission is to help youth recognize their inherent value and resist the tactics of exploiters who give empty promises of love and a future. Through case management, safety planning, intervention, advocacy, equine assisted services, and mentorship, we help youth overcome adversity and step into a hope-filled life outside of exploitation.

Youth we've helped:

  • Victims of online sexual grooming
  • Victims coerced or forced to produce Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)
  • Runaway youth who have an emotional bond with an unsafe person
  • Victims of sex or labor trafficking
  • Youth who want to perform sex acts or produce sexual footage for drugs, alcohol, or money
  • At-risk youth with signs of risky behavior (i.e. running away, talking to strangers online, sexting, sex addiction, etc.)

Healing & Hope for Families of Survivors

Trafficking-related trauma is complex and comes with many unique challenges for the survivor but also for family members. This can leave caretakers feeling overwhelmed and hopeless. As these caretakers support their kids, they need to support themselves. Our parent check-ins provide support, encouragement, and valuable training on trafficking trauma, recovery, and behaviors. Our goal is to help families partner with their children through the healing process and to achieve a resilient and hopeful future. No story or healing journey is ever the same, but you deserve resources to help you along the way.

If you're an adult caring for a youth who's experienced trafficking or sexual exploitation, we're here to help. This includes biological parents, guardians, and foster parents.
